amouralalumiere: February Photo a Day ChallengeDay 3- a strangerAdmittedly, I didn’t take this photo today but when I realised that the topic was ‘a stranger’, I instantly thought of this photo I took when we were in HK.This man is a cobbler who like many others of his kind, have set up a make shift shopfront in a narrow lane in between two sky rises in the Central district. DH and I were waiting patiently in line for this man to finish this job when I snapped this photo. He polished and cleaned those shoes with so much passion, the emotions could be seen on his face. I don’t usually take photos of strangers. I enjoy taking photos of loved ones and objects much more. However I felt compelled to take a photo of this man because he moved me. He doesn’t earn much doing what he does but when he takes on each job, he does it well, with his heart.
